With over 225,000 customers across more than 200 countries, they are one of the most widely adopted work management platforms.

monday.com for Nonprofits enables over 19,000 nonprofit organizations every year to maximize their impact, with 10 free seats and further discounts available to eligible nonprofits.

Initial challenges

Before partnering with Goodstack, the application and verification process for monday.com’s Nonprofit program was managed in-house, with internal team members manually checking and processing each applicant’s nonprofit status through the company’s CRM. There were three key issues with this in-house process:

  • Cost to monday.com: Manually reviewing applications was slow and expensive, taking valuable time from the monday.com for Nonprofits team, which could have been spent on scaling their program and empowering nonprofit teams.

  • Compliance/risk: There were no additional due diligence or compliance checks run on the nonprofit organizations, which exposed the brand to risk.

  • Nonprofit experience: Nonprofits encountered a disjointed application experience and would have to wait for days to receive a response.

In 2022, monday.com partnered with Goodstack to handle their nonprofit verification flow and take their program to the next level.

monday.com utilized Goodstack’s verification form, a Goodstack-hosted application flow that can be quickly customized and implemented, without the need to design and build your own UI.

This enabled monday.com to accept applications from 200+ countries worldwide and scale their program globally without the manual burden of application processing.

Goodstack verified the organization’s nonprofit status, whether their mission fit with monday.com’s criteria and screened them across an extensive compliance process that includes 1,200+ sanctions and watchlists, AML and adverse media, and 24/7 ongoing monitoring to alert monday.com to future changes in an organizations’ compliance status.

The use of Goodstack’s verification form allowed implementation to be completed in just a few hours.

Over the past 2 years, monday.com has been able to scale their Nonprofit program globally and now empowers over 19,000 organizations across 137 countries. The solution with Goodstack tackled their three key issues and produced the following results:
