Initial challenges
Before partnering with Goodstack, the application and verification process for monday.com’s Nonprofit program was managed in-house, with internal team members manually checking and processing each applicant’s nonprofit status through the company’s CRM. There were three key issues with this in-house process:
Cost to monday.com: Manually reviewing applications was slow and expensive, taking valuable time from the monday.com for Nonprofits team, which could have been spent on scaling their program and empowering nonprofit teams.
Compliance/risk: There were no additional due diligence or compliance checks run on the nonprofit organizations, which exposed the brand to risk.

Goodstack verified the organization’s nonprofit status, whether their mission fit with monday.com’s criteria and screened them across an extensive compliance process that includes 1,200+ sanctions and watchlists, AML and adverse media, and 24/7 ongoing monitoring to alert monday.com to future changes in an organizations’ compliance status.
The use of Goodstack’s verification form allowed implementation to be completed in just a few hours.
