"The time nonprofits save by using Hootsuite helps take some of the load off the teams we know wear so many hats," notes Laura Zubick, Hootsuite's Senior Manager, Social Impact.

How UNESCO leveraged Hootsuite for truly global impact
With a small team and limited budget, UNESCO needed an efficient way to raise awareness for its campaign to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists. Via Hootsuite, they managed evocative content across multiple social networks and languages, creating newspaper-styled posts that stood out in crowded feeds.
The results were remarkable—the #TruthNeverDies campaign reached over 2 million people organically, generated 26,600 tweets, and achieved 80,700 social media engagements.
Looking ahead, Hootsuite plans to host its next Uplift Summit Series in September 2025, providing free educational content to thousands of nonprofits.
